Another In My Ongoing Series Of Desert Plant Identification

I lied. There’s no series; I’m no botanist; and my plant knowledge is suspect at best. But I’m sure this plant is an invasive called tree tobacco. It’s fast growing and spreads quickly, choking out native plants. These are on the Marufo Vega Trail near the Rio Grande. The backpack with the underwear hanging off the back is not mine. Nor is the underwear. In fact, it’s not even underwear. Might have made a good story if I’d embellished a little, though.👙
